I love the design of this, although I got a bit bored finishing it off. The wool is lovely, really soft.
A passionate hobby of mine is crocheting baby blankets. My gorgeous pregnant friends and the local hospital charity are the main recipients of my work. I would love to hear from anyone that would like to put in an order for a bespoke blanket for a loved one. You choose the colour, size and pattern.

Project 10 - Coloured Afghan
These pics were taken fairly quickly as I wanted to give the rug to my mum (who was visiting). Not my greatest rug, but its a good size and it used a lot of 'odd' balls of wool that were left over from other projects.
Project 9 - Light Blue Rug
This rug was made with donated wool, it was a cotton mix, which I didn't particularly like - it's a bit stiff for a baby rug, but it came out nicely. It was donated to the hospital for sale at their regular stall.
Sorry, the white balance is out (again) on my camera!

Project 8 - Yellow, white and brown post baby rug
My latest rug took a lot more time to make than I expected it to. (plus work got in the way)
I'm really happy with the results. It measures 85cm x 95cm.

New rugs - January 2015
Xmas holidays watching the cricket on TV is always a good time pull out the crochet. I completed the Green Bauble Rug that was started just before summer kicked in and then pulled together some leftover balls to make a really lovely patchwork rug.
Project 7: Green Baubles
Measurements: 71cm x 91cm
(Sorry about the white balance on this one!)
Project 8: White, Red and Pink Squares
Measurements: 100cm x 82cm
You may recognise these colours from the previous red and white rug. All these squares are made individually then crocheted together. I ran out of white for the edging, so made it musk, which I don't think looks too bad. Kind of frames it.
